Fendi Names Bang Chan, Leader of K-pop Band Stray Kids, a Brand Ambassador

FENDI‘S K-POP AMBASSADOR: Fendi has named Christopher Chahn Bahng, known as Bang Chan, its new brand ambassador.

The leader and member of the K-pop boy band Stray Kids attended Fendi’s menswear spring 2025 fashion show in June in Milan, together with British actor Nicholas Galitzine, also a Fendi ambassador.

Bang Chan has since then worn the Rome-based brand at several public appearances, including at the Stray Kids World Tour <dominATE> and at music festivals, such as I-Days Milano 2024 and BST Hyde Park 2024.

“I felt an immediate connection to Fendi with its creative and fun spirit; it is my honor to join the Fendi family in its 100th anniversary year, which makes it even more special,” said the singer, rapper and composer, who became the leader of the K-pop boy band in 2018.

Fendi will kick off its centenary year with a coed fashion show during Milan Fashion Week in February, with Silvia Venturini Fendi, artistic director of accessories and menswear collections, leading the design effort.

The runway event will also coincide with the reopening of Spazio Fendi on Via Solari in Milan, the Roman brand’s longtime runway theater and showroom, which has been undergoing renovation.

Fendi has so far been mum about its plans for its 100th anniversary amid a flurry of changes, including the exits of longtime Fendi chief executive officer Serge Brunschwig and British designer Kim Jones, who last November stepped down after four years as Fendi’s artistic director of haute couture, ready-to-wear and fur collections for women.
